A group of Johannesburg stand-up comedians take a roadtrip to perform at a rock concert.

A ragtag bunch of musicians are forced to rob a bank during the Cape Town Minstrel Carnival in the hope they will save their iconic but indebted nightclub in the Bo Kaap.

When it emerges that they were double crossed during the heist in the previous film, two of the Umbrella Men are arrested, and it is up to the women to bust them out of the supposedly escape-proof prison.
